Paneer Butter Masala

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
  4. Now add the pureed tomatoes, red chili powder, garam masala, and turmeric powder. Cook for 5-6 minutes until the oil separates.
  5. Add 1 cup of water and cook for another 2 minutes to make the gravy.
  6. Once the gravy is cooked, add the cubed paneer and mix gently to coat the paneer with the masala.
  7. Add the cream and the remaining butter. Stir gently and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  9. Serve hot with naan or rice!
